Anna Kaelin Concert

Last Friday night I got the opportunity to shoot my friend Anna Kaelin's concert. She has spent the summer opening up for Charley Jenkins from Nashville Star. It was so much fun to shoot. The concert was held at the Sandy Amphitheater and the night was perfect. I got to shoot some of the behind the scenes stuff as well as run around the venue taking all the photos I wanted. Really who doesn't want free reign at a concert to shoot how, where, and what they may.

A little behind the scenes stuff. Even though you can't see Anna's face I love this first photo.

One of my favorite shots from the night.

This was such a fun opportunity. I got so many great shots and felt really great about the light and the venue. If you ever are able to shoot a concert I say do it. It is such great experience.

Hello World...

I have obviously joined the blogger world. I am not one for the written word so please bear with me as I attemp to put all the crazy thoughts running around my head down in a way that even I would be able to understand. I was told once practice makes perfect. So here goes the practice.

I promise not to be too wordy as the purpose of this blog is to share my love of photography and really how boring to read about photography I would rather just show you what I mean. Leave comments. Let me know what you think, what you like, and what you don't I would love to hear from you.

So let's jump into the deep end. I shot an event at the LDS Institute at the University of Utah a couple of weeks ago. It was a roller-skating party with an optional 70's theme. There were sumo suits their for the enjoyment of all watching.

I thought I would leave on a happy note. If everyone had a pair of neon pink and orange skates in their closet I believe the world would be a less stressful place. The world could use a little more disco. Nothing will put a smile on your face faster than a little KC & the Sunshine Band.
